See Things Differently
Digital Media Arts College (DMAC) is a school catering to cutting edge digital media. From animation to advertising, their goal is to unite the students and technology and make functional, but beautiful works of art.
Within each of our printed materials, we've incorporated some use of augmented reality. An app can be downloaded onto most smartphones so users can watch interactive videos that showcase the technology DMAC has to offer.
A dynamic logo was appropriate in this project because of all the different divisions of education the school has to offer.
Beginning with the main blue logo; it is used in any official documents discussing the school as a whole.
With each subdivision, an altered logo is used to represent them.
Orange for visual FX. Notice the onamonapia pattern to drive home the “visual” aspect of the program.
Next, the pink texture used for graphic design. The pattern creates an illusion of depth thats appealing to the eye. Reminiscent of how designers can deliver messages in unconventional ways.
The turquoise, cloud pattern depicts the web based part of the program. The clouds represents the type of storage the web has available.
Lastly, the yellow, polygonal pattern is used to represent the computer animation aspect of the program. These lines are what the animators first use when creating their 3D models.
